A simple, easy to make cocktail, the Gimlet is two ingredients: gin & Rose's lime cordial (or fresh lime juice if that's what you have). The drink, like many classic gin cocktails, has military origins, created on the high seas by a Brisith Naval Officer. You can read more about the Gimlet here.
Ingredients
50ml 1689 Dutch Dry Gin
50ml Rose's Lime Cordial
Method
Add both ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir to taste. Strain into a chilled Martini glass and garnish with a lime twist or wheel.
