A delicate and floral classic Pre-Prohibition cocktail, the Aviation was created during the heady early days of air travel, and is named so because of its light, sky blue colour.
Ingredients
60ml 1689 Dutch Dry Gin
10ml maraschino liqueur
15ml fresh lemon juice
10ml creme de violette
Method
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake well with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass and garnish with a luxardo cherry (in the bottom of the glass).
